FreeLite's design goal is aesthetic integrity at a price that makes the project a good bargain. Practical considerations place limits on design alternatives. Whenever possible, we try to open up an area (raise part of the ceiling) in conjunction with the skylight. Open and bright just go together. Function
Before installations Freelite first asks our customers the following:
- Where do you want the light?- How much light would you like in the area?
- What kind of light works best for you?
Sunlight intensity varies during the day and throughout the year. Light transmission varies according to the translucency of the glazing material as well as the number of layers. A good skylight design maximizes light distribution while minimizing exposure to other elements.
